OPEN DOOR

Black Country Housing Group (BCGH), Mercian Housing Association (MHA), Castle Vale Community Housing Association (CVCHA), Family Housing Association (FHA) and Midland Heart Housing Association are five registered social landlords (RSL), who provide affordable housing and are directly accountable to residents have joined up a partnership to bring about significant improvements to tackling community disadvantage, raise aspirations, address barriers to progression and enabling individuals to reach their full potential.

Open Door is committed to ensure a “no wrong door” access to advice on skill and careers and become an efficient and effective Advancement Network prototype covering the Black Country, Birmingham and Coventry UK.

OUR AIM

Building strong client relationship, we mentor people through tailored programmes to ensure personal development and progress, Open Door will assess individual needs and then signpost to service providers and agencies that help people to achieve their goals.

Open Door is a one-stop-shop service, offering information, advice and support to those in work and out of work.

We provide a range of advisory services to access training or work opportunities in the West Midlands UK.

Whatever is holding our customers back-training, skills childcare, housing or healthcare support, we open doors to local services to ensure barriers are removed and goals are reached.
